Cupofill. har begynt å bevege seg over dammen og jeg skal representere Cupofill på Do it! fredag den 13. i Aberdeen. Dette blir en første performance fra vår side utenlands hvor jeg skal illustrere til musikken live. Det blir bra musikk, bra visuals og bra vibber. Altså oppkommende fredag. fredag den 13. mai.

AUNTIE FLO (Huntley & Palmers, Slabs of The Tabernacle / Glasgow, UK)
Hailing from Goa by way of Glasgow, Auntie Flo (aka Brian D'Souza) takes in influence from anything as far flung as Villalobos, Four Tet and Caribou, to Fela Kuti, William Onyeabor, and kwaito, alongside Kode 9's Hyperdub, Chicago house from Fast Eddie, Tyree Cooper, etc. More recently Matias Aguayo's Comeme imprint and some of the current movers and shakers from the UK scene. His latest release just dropped on Huntley & Palmers (the first release on the label) & has so far gathered great support from the like of Villalobos, Jackmaster, Sinden, Caribou, Joy Orbison and Egyptrixx due to it's old school tribal house vibes and stripped down funk. We are happy to announce that he will play a live set & DJ on this night.
